After being revealed last September, the new 100% electric E-3008 is now on European roads! PEUGEOT Magazine was lucky enough to get behind the wheel of the new model, starting out from Cannes and its famous Palais des Festivals steps. We then headed for the Massif de l'Esterel and its ochre rocks, before returning to the coast at the intimate seaside resort of Saint-Raphaël.

REINVENTED DESIGN
It's still winter, but the sun is shining on the French Riviera! It's an opportunity to appreciate the PEUGEOT E-3008's reinvented design, with its fastback profile and famous three-claw light signature recognizable at first glance! Elegantly set on its 20-inch wheels, our Blanc Okénite model looks great.
To the point of being noticed! Many onlookers turn around as we pass. But it's not the noise that attracts their attention, as our ride is ultra-quiet thanks to its 100% electric motorisation.

The forces at work? A 210 hp permanent magnet synchronous motor coupled to a 73 kWh battery offering a range of no less than 527 km (WLTP). On the Croisette, between world-famous hotels, the new E-3008 is particularly at ease. Thanks to its short turning circle (10.64 m), it's easy to get around, and you can take full advantage of its three-stage regeneration system using the paddles behind the steering wheel. In this congested urban environment, the overall smoothness of operation is much appreciated.
This smoothness is also found on the narrow roads winding through the Massif de l'Esterel, thanks to first-rate comfort and advanced soundproofing offering a hushed environment. We face the new Panoramic i-Cockpit® with its 21-inch curved HD panel floating above the dashboard. The wow effect is total! With the compact steering wheel in hand, it's a pleasure to drive the PEUGEOT E-3008, which glides from corner to corner with ease.

As the day draws to a close, the sun's orange rays against the rock create a spectacle like only the French Riviera can offer! The interior lighting ambience, customisable with 8 colors, gradually reveals itself, elegantly illuminating the aluminum dashboard! When night falls, you can count on Pixel Led headlamps, which automatically adapt the beam to traffic conditions, so you can see as if in broad daylight.
Head filled with beautiful images, we return to the paradisiacal beaches of Saint-Raphaël to complete our road trip. Thanks to its reinvented design, its PEUGEOT Panoramic i-Cockpit® and its electric engine, the new PEUGEOT E-3008 offers an unparalleled driving experience on the French Riviera!
