Waikato Motor Group Events – Hamilton
The Perry Foundation REV Cycle Festival is an annual major cycling event for competitive and recreational riders of all abilities including the countries top cyclists. The race distances are 120km, 40km, 18km and special kids’ events. It starts at the Waikato University going around parts of the Waikato, with challenging hills such as the ‘French Pass’ which usually have ‘can-can’ dancers at the top, following the French theme and giving the cyclists something to smile about once they reach the top and finishing up again at the University.
Approximately 1,100 people ride and all the support vehicles and referee vehicles are Peugeots supplied by Waikato Motor Group and Peugeot NZ. Waikato Motor Group also put up various prizes for the cyclists. This year’s prizes went to the 207th and 308th finishers.
Waikato Motor Group is thrilled to be part of the annual Hamilton Christmas Parade for the past four years. Each year WMG has “dressed” the Peugeot convertibles in Christmas wrap and chauffered characters such as ‘Cat in the Hat’ and ‘Clifford the big red dog’ to the delight of many locals - young and old.
Valentines in Remuera
Remuera Shops and Continental Car Services Peugeot joined together leading up to Valentines Day, to offer one lucky shopper a weekend away in a stunning Peugeot 308CC. The beautiful Peugeot was on display for 2 weeks in Remuera while the promotion was on. Simone Burton of Ellerslie has won an amazing prize package including jewellery, spa vouchers, art & books.
Continental Car Services supports their local school in the area – Royal Oak Primary and at the recent International Food Festival held at the School, a Peugeot 308CC was displayed and a competition was in place to win The Drive of your Life! It was a great, successful day out and the school managed to raise a whopping $26,000 to assist the school with technology for their students.

Recently, Peugeot joined with top New Zealand fashion designer Kate Sylvester – who Peugeot have sponsored for many years – to launch our brand new 4007 SUV and Kate’s internationally acclaimed range ‘Take a Hike’. Launches were held throughout the country at Peugeot Dealership’s and customers had the opportunity to win a $500 Kate Sylvester wardrobe on the night.

Peugeot salutes top accountant
Peugeot is proud to be a supporter of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and has recently handed over a new Peugeot 308 hatch for a year to Leon Wijohn, who has won the Outstanding New Member Award 2009.
The NZICA represents over 32,000 members in NZ and more than 90 other countries. The institute acts in the public interest through regulating the profession, developing financial reporting standards and promoting quality, integrity and expertise.
