3008

ENVIRONMENT

Aiming to deliver the best environmental efficiency was a major concern from the outset for the 3008, especially as this is a crossover vehicle. The architecture, design and dimensions put the drag coefficient (Cx) of 3008 at 0.296. The efficiency of this air penetration index and the resulting SCx (0.760), despite a frontal area (S) of 2.56 m2 because of the height and width of the car, reflect the wind tunnel work done on the body, with the resulting lower fuel consumption and therefore lower CO2 emissions.

EURO 5

For both engine types on the 3008, the software is specifically engineered to ensure compliance with the Euro 5 emission standard.

Diesel particle emission filter

The Particle filter (FAP) combines HDi technology and an efficient pollution control system. This self-cleaning system treats the gases from the diesel combustion in the engine. It reduces particulate emissions from diesel engines to the limit of what is measurable and intensifies the green credentials of diesel engines.
